Press M and open the controls list at the bottom of the menu before you memorize a chart from another Final Stand. The 2016 game and this remaster are different experiences. The keys below are the ones a beginner walkthrough of place 7922773201 uses on screen.
Inputs that walkthrough shows
| Action | Input shown | What it did in the video |
|---|---|---|
| Menu | M | Stats, skills, equipment, and the controls list |
| Fly | Hold Space | Basic flight |
| Faster flight | Shift, then double-tap W | A speed burst while flying |
| Vertical flight | Release W, hold Shift and Space | Climbs for the sky objective |
| Double jump | Double-tap Space in the air | Used on Piccolo's no-fly orbs |
| Dash | Q, with Shift for a faster dash | Limited charges above the hotbar |
| Ki blast | E | Does not always finish a grounded NPC by itself |
| Charge Ki | X | Fills the blue bar |
| Basic string | M1, about four hits | Follow with an ability or M2 to knock away |
| Capsule bar | Period | Activates the equipped capsule |
Dash charges were three bars, or six after that capsule was turned on. Healing from a full Ki bar worked only out of combat. The combat icon is the warning that you cannot heal.
Block is real. The same video blocks police gunfire, but it does not name the block key. Transform and Ki-sense keys are also not named there. Use the M controls list for those. Do not copy the original game's chart just because some keys overlap.
How fights are actually structured
Light attacks are the damage string. Heavy attacks break guard. A light string into a heavy is not a true combo, so the defender can escape or punish it. Ki blasts are the zoning tool: they chip, they stun if they are not blocked, and they can pull one enemy out of a crowd.
Vanish-style dodges are the escape from beams and long strings. Spend the dash after a whiff, not as a panic button on cooldown. Charge Ki only after you have space. Dumping the bar on one blast leaves you unable to fly out or heal later.
Skills are bought from the shop inside M, then equipped from the skills tab onto a hotbar slot. Energy Wave is the example purchase used in early shop instructions. Race skills such as Gum Gum Pistol have their own level and Zeni prices on the race pages.
Shop and training habits
Buy one reliable blast early, then add a second only when you can still pay for movement and a defensive option. Destructor Disc is the blast the level 25 to 50 walkthrough tells players to buy for the Chi expert. Keep base form on for weak quest mobs so you do not tax the reward.
Nimbus is a paid flight item in that first video, described there as 150 Robux and roughly 150 to 200 speed, with the creator unsure whether it stacks with the Speed stat. Read the current store text before you buy. It is a convenience, not a quest requirement. The bridge race and Piccolo's orbs were completed without it by cutting corners and dashing.
